You guys are always asking me to share some healthy breakfast ideas with you. Most of the mornings, I am in a rush and can’t afford to spend a lot of time preparing breakfast. So what do I do? I quickly make myself a delicious alkaline juice.
It takes less than 5 minutes to make and it lets you pack a ton of vitamins and minerals into one quick meal. I always feel refreshed and energized after I drink this juice and most importantly I feel very “light”. A few years back, I used to have pastry and tea for breakfast and I remember always feeling bloated and tired after.
Not a good way to start the day…
This alkaline juice is a great way to detoxify your body and it can also help with weight loss. Detoxification is as essential to our life as breathing. We are exposed to thousands of toxins in our daily life that come from the air we breath, the water we drink, makeup and cosmetics we use and, unfortunately, the food we eat.
My juice will help your body to get rid of harmful toxins and chemicals that have built up in its the cells and organs. Since less energy will be used to fight with toxins, your body will finally be able to devote more time and energy to achieving the sense of peace and well being.
How does that sound?
IMHO, juices are the real “fast food”. They are not only fast to make, but also fast to consume. Sometimes I bring this juice with me on the go if I’m running super late. Now you can’t do that with a lot of breakfast meals, can you?
Like I mentioned in the video, you can have this juice as a meal at any point during the day. Just make sure that you drink at least 3 cups of it for the juice to fill you up. Check out my recipe for Clear & Glowing Skin Juice as well. I’m sure you’ll love it!
I usually use the pulp from the juice to make a facial mask. Throwing it out just seems like such a waste!
Add the juice of half of a lemon and 4 tbsp of raw honey to the pulp to make it sticker. Then apply the mixture to clean skin and leave for 10-15 minutes. I highly recommend you lay down to apply this mask to prevent making a mess. After 10 min, remove the mixture, rinse your face with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
This recipe should be enough to make 2-3 face masks. Just keep the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

- Carefully wash all the ingredients.
