Lunch might be my favourite meal of the day, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like breakfast and dinner. I’m often asked on Instagram and YouTube to share my favourite vegan breakfast ideas. So it’s time I show you what I like to eat every morning.
Prepare yourself. After you watch this video, there is a very high chance that you will feel extremely hungry. Just saying…
Eh? What did I say?
To be honest, there was a time when breakfast and I were not friends. At all. Throughout all of high school and university, I pretty much never ate breakfast. Back then it was much more important to get extra 15 minutes of sleep. Oh how I wish I could go back in time and smack myself across the face.
Eating a nutritiously dense breakfast every day is essential for our body to perform at its best. Maybe that’s why I found myself not being able to focus in class and falling asleep in lectures so many times.
But I am proud to tell you that breakfast and I have been in a very healthy and stable relationship for over 3 years now. Some might call it love. Shhh! Don’t tell lunch. It might get jealous.
Like I mentioned in the video, all 3 of these recipes are délicieux. There is absolutely no reason why your breakfast can’t be delicious and healthy at the same time. Don’t believe me? Just try any of these recipes! 😉
The Almond Coconut Smoothie is my favourite out of these recipes. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know that I like to start my day with green smoothies and juices. Personally, I find them the easiest to make and they give me the needed energy to complete all of my daily tasks. Aka kiss Olive. Just Kidding. Not really.
I think it’s the fact that there is such a variety of smoothie and juice recipes you can come up with that makes it so exciting for me. While I do get bored with some breakfast recipes (I probably can’t eat the quinoa and cereal every day for an entire week even though they taste amazing), that never happens with “the green liquid stuff” as my sister calls it.
But I understand that not everyone is the same. You might have come to this page looking for the Blueberry Flax Breakfast Quinoa recipe or the Chia Hemp Buckwheat Cereal as they might appeal to you more. I am sorry to tell you that you won’t find them on this page. My wonderful, yet somewhat limiting recipe plugin only lets me to include one printable recipe per blog post. So I will have to send you elsewhere. Booo. I know.
